Research area:
The candidate will work in a joint research project on thermoelectrical waste-heat recovery for automotive applications. She/he will be involved in the experimental investigation of thermal and mechanical properties of systems and components by using novel optical measurement techniques. The research will be done in close collaboration with our partners from Daimler, Bosch, Eberspächer, and the DLR in the new laboratory for Optoelectronics and Laserphysics in the group of Prof. Dr. Georg Bastian.
Profile:
• A Master degree in experimental Physics or Mechanical Engineering,
• Background in material science, optics and metrology,
• Inquisitiveness, commitment, creativity and strong interest to join fundamental effects with applied research and
• English or German skills.
